Memorial Service
June 5, 1999
There will be a memorial service for George Gaffney, Jr. at 11:00 a.m. on June 5, 1999 at St. Raphael's Cathedral in Madison.
"On June 1^st I will go to Hawaii to bring my father home to his country and the family who loved him and continued to speak his name. His life and spirit will be celebrated at St. Raphael Cathedral in Madison, Wisconsin where he was baptized, served as an altar boy and where I too was baptized, in his memory.
"George Philip Gaffney, Jr. will be laid to rest with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday June 9^th, 1999.
"He is not forgotten, my father."
